Who we are
ZeroOne is an online coding and AI school for children aged 9-15 (zeroone.az). We process personal data only as described below and only to run the school.
What we collect
Via the enrolment form: the parent's name and contacts (email, phone), the child's name and age, the chosen program and a message. During study: the student's progress, attendance, homework and projects. Via the newsletter form: an email address.
Children's data
A child's data is provided by the parent (legal guardian) and only with their consent. We collect the minimum needed for learning: name, age, learning progress. We never publish a child's data without the parent's separate consent.
Why we use data
To contact you about your request, organise lessons, track progress, show it in the family portal and, if you subscribed, send school updates. We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising.
Where data is stored
Data lives in a protected database (PostgreSQL, hosted by Neon) and on our server in the EU. Only staff who need it for their work can access it; every admin action is logged.
Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies: the portal sign-in session and preferences (language, theme). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Retention
Enrolment requests: up to 2 years after the last contact; student records: for the study period and up to 1 year after; newsletter subscription: until you opt out.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your and your child's data, its correction, or complete deletion. Write to us and we reply within 30 days.
